This is a concept page for a request at "Commons:Graphic Lab/Map workshop" about the changes in territory of the Viceroyalty of New Spain in 1800 compared to modern Mexico in 1900 and which of its territories became a part of the United States of America and other countries.

Request
Hello fellow Wikimedia Commonists… I would like to request the creation of a map of New Spain / Mexico in 1800 and 1900 in relation with the United States, the map I used for the concept has a number of errors so I propose using the borders found at "File:Viceroyalty of the New Spain 1800 (without Philippines).png" as the basis for the borders of the Viceroyalty of the New Spain in the year 1800. In my preferred version the Philippine archipelago is included in a way similar to the concept image as it was a part of the Viceroyalty of New Spain in 1800 and the United States of America in 1900.
In the concept map I used a number of colours that were "friendly to Microsoft Paint", but this wouldn't be preferable for an SVG map. --Donald Trung 『徵國單』 (No Fake News 💬) (WikiProject Numismatics 💴) (Articles 📚) 15:57, 19 August 2021 (UTC)
