The 3rd Battle Squadron was a formation of the British Home Fleet during World War One. The squadron was mostly used in support of the cruisers on Northern Patrol. The fleet consisted of 8 pre-Dreadnought-class battleships, being: HMS King Edward VII, HMS Africa, HMS Britannia, HMS Commonwealth, HMS Dominion, HMS Hibernia, HMS Hindustan and HMS New Zealand.
