Carta falsa

Debido a que como me informa, el Banco conserva los derechos de sus logos y botones, además de sus leyendas, aunque sea un phishig, por tanto evitemos problemas y bórrese , lo puse en los de borrado rápido, si lo pudiera hacer, se lo agradeceré mucho. EGFerreiro 21:15, 5 October 2007 (UTC)

Regarding your kind post on my talk page I'm afraid you are wrong. As I told Jose Garzón:

"Juts read the "Estatut d'Autonomia" [1]. The only official name of the Valencian Community is, in both Spanish and Catalan, Comunitat Valenciana (pag. 13)":

El Pueblo Valenciano, històricamente organizado como Reino de Valencia, se constituye en Comunidad Autónoma (...), con la denominación de Comunitat Valenciana.

Do you see? Even in the Spanish translation of the Estatut the original name in Valencian is kept in its native way: Comunitat Valenciana!

And, by the way, the name "País Valencià" exists, it's recognized in the "Estatut" and it's the more used in Catalan.

Anyway, the problem here is not the proper name of a political institution, but the vandalism Jose Garzón is massively doing by removing definitions of the articles in Catalan [2], changing the categories (from the traditional Valencian comarca to the Spanish province) [3] and translating names of places without previous discussion and without caring of the Commons:Language policy, which clearly states that names of places are to appear in their native language. --Casaforra (parlem-ne) 13:52, 18 October 2007 (UTC)

Looks like I'll never be a good teacher:

I'm not discussing if "Comunidad Valenciana" is a proper translation into Spanish or not. I'm only sourcing that the ONLY official name is "Comunitat Valenciana". I don't care if Spanish media refer to is as Comunidad or whatever, the same way Russian authorities won't care if you say their capital is "Moscú" or I say "Moscou", its ONLY official name is "Москва".

Anyway, this is not the matter of the discussion. Since this is not the Spanish or the Catalan wiki the translation or the original and only official names are not applied, but the English one.

For whatever reasons I won't deep into (because I wasn't here when they were discussed, mainly), the categories were named as "Land of Valencia". This may sound strange to some people, and this caused a proper article in the English wiki (Names of the Valencian Community). If I was asked, and vote for moving all the categories "Land of Valencia" to "Valencian Community". But that's not what happened.

Without any previous discussion, without giving any explanation when he's been required, Jose Garzón is translating everything into Spanish! And that's what I reject because of respect to the original name, which is also wiki's basement: According to Commons:Language policy place names are to be kept in their original native name.

borrar imagen

Hola. En el historial de un artículo me pusieron, (-"Arturo_Rosenblueth.jpg". Borrado en Commons por Davepape. (flickr image has NC license)

Entiendo que no puede ser usada la imagen, pudiera hacerme el favor de borrarla rápido, para evitar problemas y sí me puede explicar por que flickr no permite usarla. Imagem duplicada

Olá,

Espero que entendas o meu Português, o meu Espanhol não é muito bom. Tu marcaste a imagem Image:Pião de corda.JPG como duplicado da imagem Image:Trompos.jpg de forma incorrecta. Só se carregam imagens já existentes no Commons sob um novo nome se o nome antigo estiver errado ou não for claro. Neste caso, tal não acontece, a imagem tem um nome válido em português. Por favor, não o voltes a fazer, o Commons é um projecto que aceita nomes de imagens em qualquer língua. Saludos, Patrícia ^msg 16:13, 4 December 2007 (UTC)

Eu pedi ao Siebrand (que foi quem apagou a imagem antes) para reverter a acção e substituir todas as ocorrências das imagens. Os nomes das imagens podem estar em qualquer língua e em português (pelo menos em Portugal) o objecto é conhecido como pião (ou pião de corda). A imagem original foi carregada em Setembro de 2006 pelo próprio fotógrafo. Bem, tudo resolvido :). Saludos, Patrícia ^msg 20:56, 4 December 2007 (UTC)

Isso é bem verdade, por favor, não o faças.

Ou és mentiroso, ou MUITO distraído: Como se pode ver aqui, há mais de 1 ano que a imagem tem uso pelo menos na WikiPT. E mesmo que ela não fosse usada, nada te dá o direito de fazeres o que fizeste. Queres fotos de trompos, pegas na máquina e fazes

Só te faltou dizer que a foto que EU fiz dos MEUS 'trompos' era tua.
