• Search at the Zentral- und Landesbibliothek Berlin, fulltext search, has e.g. the "Centralblatt der Bauverwaltung" (useful for architecture & sculpture)

• Caplex: gratis leksikon på Internett.
• Person register of the Lindemanutgåva, a 19th century collection of Nordic folk songs. The register contains many people, not only singers or componists, sometimes with life dates.
