  •   Oppose --ArinArin 06:30, 28 September 2005 (UTC) Without being an admin, she is already ignoring the naming policies out of political bias. If she became an admin she could use it to legitimate her strongly biased behaviour.Reply
I don't think that Anna is violating any rule. As you point out, policy states native name. I don't know if native means official (it would support your statement) or name in the official language of the place (that way, Anna would not be violating anything). My personal opinion is that the policy is obscure (and can be interpreted) and your vote can be regarded as biased by your political option. --Ecemaml 10:24, 28 September 2005 (UTC)Reply
i think it's a good thing the fact that someone explains the reasons for his/her own vote. what i don't quite understand is why a vote has to have an "i think your vote is wrong" sort of answer. can you imagine this happening in a real-life election? i am just and only casting my vote! another thing i cannot understand is why the negative votes are the only ones that are being answered to: i can only consider it a kind of propaganda, and an attempt from you of invalidating/discrediting/demonizing/whatever my vote, sorry. your attitude and Orgullomoore's (who asks Antoine for a justification of his negative vote, when none of the positive ones previous to his had a justification, nor were they asked for one) are proofs (FOR ME) that the ones trying to impose their oppinion in this election are the supporters and not the opposers as johnbojaen had said --ArinArin 11:17, 28 September 2005 (UTC)Reply
The issue is that there are only two types of against votes here. Those of people that have been requested in ca.wikipedia or gl.wikipedia to vote against her just because they don't like the way Anna has handled toponyms, and on the other side, Antoine, a childlish outcast wikipedist from es.wikipedia that because of his actions has gathered an unanimous animadversion in es.wikipedia. Everytime he's been warned or someone does something he doesn't like he plans these kind of revenges. Two weeks ago, an article he had written was proposed to be deleted; he reacted voting against the deletion of ALL articles being voted at that time. This time, as Anna has said something he doesn't like two days ago, he votes against her in commons. That's the point in Orgullomoore's question and not trying to compel anyone to vote in one direction or another. --Ecemaml 15:43, 28 September 2005 (UTC)Reply
my grandmother voted for aznar because "he is so handsome". although i have never been a supporter of aznar i never told her her vote wasn't sufficiently reasoned. that's democracy. her vote isn't less valuable. there are not "types of votes" in a democracy, that's a meritocracy or whatever. nobody has said there are two types of anna's supporters here: the ones who reasonably think she can be a good admin and the ones who think "she is so cute" (i'm just extrapolating my grandma's words) or vote for her out of inertia (typical when voting a friend and not questioning him). i bet we could have a big surprise dicriminating the votes this way, but that would be out of the point wouldn't it. --ArinArin 06:27, 29 September 2005 (UTC)Reply
btw Ecemaml, you sond like a reasonable person, so what i didn't expect from you was such a classification: "...two types of against votes here. Those of people that have been requested in ca.wikipedia or gl.wikipedia to vote against her just because they don't like the way Anna has handled toponyms, and on the other side, Antoine..." no third type, just these two, the ones recolected for a "nonsense" (?) reason and the childish one? must i presume that in your oppinion no opposing vote should be regarded as valid? --ArinArin 07:00, 29 September 2005 (UTC)Reply
Well, Ecemaml had been since long time ago following me from es.wikipedia because i simply don't like him, and any vote i'd do democratily he will discuss it. At less here there are bigger fishes for stop his hunt. C'ya! --Antoine 04:06, 1 October 2005 (UTC)Reply
