Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~. To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg. You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

An unfree Flickr license was found on File:J.R.R. Tolkien smoking his pipe.jpg

A file that you uploaded to Wikimedia Commons from Flickr, File:J.R.R. Tolkien smoking his pipe.jpg, was found available on Flickr by an administrator or reviewer under the license Noncommercial (), No derivative works (), or All Rights Reserved (), which isn't compatible with Wikimedia Commons, per the licensing policy. The file has been deleted. Commons:Flickr files/Appeal for license change has information about sending the Flickr user an appeal asking for the license to be changed. Only Flickr images tagged as (CC BY), (CC BY-SA), (CC0) and (PDM) are allowed on Wikimedia Commons. If the Flickr user has changed the license of the Flickr image, feel free to ask an administrator to restore the file, or start an undeletion request.

Oh I am sorry about this, I thought that there was little to no difference between the licence Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 2.0 and Attribution-ShareAlike 2.0 which I used. I will try and contact the original uploader on Flickr.  ᚪᛋᚦᚩᚾᛏ (Asþont) | Talk  22:29, 11 September 2016 (UTC)

bandiere della marina militare e mercantile italiana

Caro Asþont, un paio di anni fa hai "aggiornato" tutti i file delle bandiere della marina italiana (militare e mercantile) con il nuovo simbolo. c'è un grave errore però... le "vecchie" bandiere di fatto NON possono essere utilizzate più perchè ritenute file obsoleto. sarebbe il caso che sdoppiassi in 2 tutte le bandiere che hai creato avendo così la possibilità di usare la versione 1946/2013 e quella 2013/oggi delle singole bandiere e stemmi della marina (militare e mercantile) italiana. @Delehaye: è importante che il File:Bandiera XYZ.svg utilizzi l’ultima versione grafica, altrimenti ogni volta che la grafica della Bandiera XYZ viene aggiornata bisognerebbe cambiare il nome delle immagini tutte le pagine e i template che ne fanno uso. È vero però che avere a disposizione le vecchie versioni potrebbe essere utile (ad esempio, per pagine che mostrano la cronologia delle bandiere navali italiane). Personalmente non ho tempo per caricare i vecchi file, ma la procedura è molto semplice e potresti farla di persona. Vai su File:Bandiera XYZ.svg e apri l’ultima versione che usava il vecchio simbolo. Salva l’immagine in formato .svg sul tuo computer. Caricala su WikiCommons col nome File:Bandiera XYZ (1947-2013).svg ed è fatta! Ricordati di caricare i file con la stessa licenza del file originale e di attribuire l’autorità all’utente che ha realizzato la versione che stai caricando (il più delle volte, Flanker). Coat of arms of Italian Eastern Africa

Dear Aspont, I've seen your incredible two files of AOI! As I am currently writing on a decorated article about the Ethiopian war, I would like to ask if you could also make one more file, which would vectorise 1:1 this CoA. As stated in the REGIO DECRETO 31 Agosto 1939-XVII, n. 2225, the design of this Coat of Arms is approved as it appears on the table attached to this decree, which will be signed by our Commissioner at the Heraldic Council, with the visa, of our order, of the DUCE of Fascism, Head of Government.
