Image:Panoz emblem.jpg listed for deletion
editImage deletion warning | Image:Panoz emblem.jpg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry. If you created this image, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. If the file is up for deletion because it has been superseded by a superior derivative of your work, consider the notion that although the file may be deleted, your hard work (which we all greatly appreciate) lives on in the new file. |

Hey Bill... unfortunately taking a photo (2D representation) of a 2D object doesn't usually gain any new copyright. Copyright is a pain, eh... --pfctdayelise (translate?) 11:37, 13 July 2006 (UTC)
- I didn't remember making a user here (instead of at wikipedia), so I never looked at this talk page). So, I didn't see this until far too late. The upload page's guide to copyright seemed to say that if I took the picture, I can license it as I see fit. If that's not the case (as it seems) maybe the guidelines need to be revised to be more clear. Regardless, if it is copyrighted, it should have been deleted, so no complaint from me. -- BillWeiss | Talk 19:32, 10 September 2006 (UTC)
