You where right in your discussion in the deletion request. In Arab countries photographic work protection has nothing to do with the author, it depends on the publication date. I will try to add other Arab countries soon. --Tarawneh 20:30, 30 December 2006 (UTC)

Hello Botev, I noticed you edited the geo coordinates to your image of the Farafenni market. Google maps (as linked from the coordinate) now puts the marker at the edge of the town. I put it somewhere in the center where I presumed the marked place would be. Do you remember where exactly you took the pic? --Dschwen 20:04, 1 March 2007 (UTC)

If the content is a derivative of a copyrighted work, you need to supply the names and a licence of the original authors as well.

Le jardin d'Idoumou

Hi Botev! Contrary to what one would expect, considering thee CC-by-SA logo on the front page, images from Le Jardin d'Idoumou are not provided under CC-by-SA. Actually, they are explicitely provided for non-commercial use (however some pictures are said to be from public domain but they are not listed). I guess this deceiving CC-by-SA logo goes with the Spip skin that is used for the site.

I'm sorry for the work you have done so far but, unless I'm completely wrong, these images must be deleted. As the uploader, would you be kind enough to ask for their speedy deletion? Thanks. — Xavier, 10:19, 9 November 2007 (UTC)

Hi, I noticed your changes to PD-Polish. The new flag does not look right - it shows up as a small red bar, and this template was always using COA which shows better. PD in Croatia

Botev, you obviously don't have enough knowledge about Croatian law to make judgment is some pic (or other work of art) PD or not. Check (if you know Croatian): Javno vlasništvo, in short, before 27 of July 1999 span of author rights in Croatia extended 50 years after authors death, after that date Croatia accepted EU laws (70 years of author rights after authors death).

So works of anybody who died before 31st of December 1948 (or on that day) are in PD.
