Our first steps tour and our frequently asked questions will help you a lot after registration. They explain how to customize the interface (for example the language), how to upload files and our basic licensing policy (Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content). You don't need technical skills in order to contribute here. Be bold contributing here and assume good faith for the intentions of others. This is a wiki — it is really easy.
More information is available at the community portal. You may ask questions at the help desk, village pump or on IRC channel #wikimedia-commons (webchat). You can also contact an administrator on their talk page. If you have a specific copyright question, ask at the copyright village pump.
Hello C3r4, I've seen (randomly without any notification) you have blocked me as bot (in your local Wiki) so is there a way to get a bot flag? I guess this is a weakness of this Wiki, because of the really abnormal high direct use of a single file (384). By the way, the according same Coa from the same source get deleted as Copyvio. → User: Perhelion (Commons: = crap?) 19:05, 7 August 2014 (UTC)
Translating the interface in your language, we need your helpEdit
Please register on translatewiki.net if you didn't yet and then help complete priority translations (make sure to select your language in the language selector). With a couple hours' work or less, you can make sure that nearly all visitors see the wiki interface fully translated. Nemo 14:06, 26 April 2015 (UTC)
