Goodies, tips, and tricks Put Babel boxes on your user page so others know what languages you can speak and indicate your graphic abilities. You can find the files you have uploaded in your Uploads. Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~. To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg. You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

Wiki loves Monuments

Hallo Domi-schnitz64

Vielen Dank für deine Teilnahme an WikiLovesMonuments und für die Fotos aus Basel. Mir scheint, dass deine Fotos sehr stark überbelichtet sind. So sehr, dass die Häuser alle ziemlich blass aussehen und sich vom Hintergrund kaum abheben. In vielen Fällen erkennt man darum leider kaum architektonische Details. Ich würde an deiner Stelle versuchen, mit einem Bildbearbeitungsprogramm die Helligkeit und den Kontrast anzupassen. Viel ist schon gewonnen, wenn man nicht in Richtung Sonne fotografiert, sondern diese wann immer möglich im Rücken hat.

Wiki Loves Monuments 2014 - Wiki4Alps edition

WLM CH (Deutsch) Liebe/r Teilnehmer/in des Wettbewerbs Wiki Loves Monuments CH 2013, Die Ausgabe 2014 des Wettbewerbs Wiki Loves Monuments hat Montag 8 September begonnen. Dieses Jahr fokussiert sich der Schweizer Wettbewerb auf die Region der Alpen. Die vergangenen Wettbewerbe haben ermöglicht, dass mehrere tausend Fotos von Schweizer Denkmälern gesammelt werden konnten. Dank euch hat es auf Wikimedia Commons Bilder von zahlreichen Denkmälern. Jedoch haben wir festgestellt, dass die Denkmäler, welche sich in den alpinen Regionen befinden, dabei nur sehr gering vertreten sind. Aus diesem Grund fokussiert sich der diesjährige Wettbewerb spezifisch auf die Alpen, um auch diesen Lebensraum auf Wikimedia Commons besser dokumentiert vorzufinden. Denkt daran: Hochgeladen werden können die Bilder vom 8.September bis und mit dem 8.Oktober 2014. Um am Wettbewerb teilzunehmen, könnt ihr jedoch auch Bilder hochladen, die ihr zu einem beliebigen Zeitpunkt gemacht habt. Die Fotos müssen nicht während der Wettbewerbszeit entstanden sein. Wikimedia CH organisiert mehrere Wikiexpeditions während dieser Wettbewerbs-Zeit, um Fotos von Denkmälern zu machen, die nur sehr spärlich auf Commons dokumentiert sind. Dear uploader of Wiki Loves Earth in Switzerland and Wiki Loves Monuments in Switzerland, we would like to remind you that Wiki Science Competition 2021 has started in the whole world. It is now open in your country until December, 15th.

If you want to take part in WSC2021, please consult this page. There are different categories that can be used (you might therefore have something already interesting in your archive). Prizes can be allocated for the 1st and 2nd positions in every category.

If you are an expert user, we remind you that the images uploaded within the deadline can be included in any case in their national category even if not uploaded with the main interface by simply adding the national category.

If you take part, please consider improving the description in English of your files, since such description is what the international jury will use to evaluate them at the following step. World finalists will be finalized after March 2022.
