Hello. I noticed that you uploaded a number of photographs by Werner Haberkorn as public domain, e.g. File:Werner Haberkorn - Vista da cidade de São Paulo.jpg. However, Haberkorn died in 1997 so these are still copyrighted and unfree. Your licence rationale is wrong, but I suspect these images came as part of a larger GLAM upload. De728631 thanks for the note. I made a mistake on the pattypan table and let it running while I was sleeping. The license I was supposed to use is the same as in File:Werner Haberkorn - Caminho Para Serraria, Acervo do Museu Paulista da USP.jpg. I will correct them in the next hours. Thanks again! Ajuda em importação

@Rodrigo.Argenton: Não entendo o que você quer exatamente. Meu procedimento padrão de raspagem de dados é: Gerar uma lista das urls que quero raspar e depois executar um script em python personalizado para essas páginas na minha máquina para pegar os dados disponíveis (os metadados + url específica da imagem, por exemplo). De posse dessa lista de urls de imagens, eu passo para uma extensão do Chrome ("Gerenciador de Download Chrono") para iniciar o download. Quando termina eu tenho imagens e metadados para limpar e organizar numa pasta. Espero que ajude, Ederporto (talk) 17:46, 23 July 2018 (UTC)

E têm a lista de URL, e pelo que eu entendi criaram até um py para fazer o download dos metadados e das imagens.

O que eu queria entender é como usar esse py, e como eu não vou me perder para juntar essas informações.

@Rodrigo.Argenton: Para executar o py você teria que instalar o Python e poderia seguir as instruções na página do Git desse projeto (executar o comando pelo prompt de comando, como está escrito lá). Pelo que eu entendi, ao fazer isso, ele baixará as imagens e metadados para a pasta local. Como não se perder eu não sei, pois não sei como estão estruturadas essas informações. Remoção

Pq vocês estão nessa empreitada de sair procurando pela wikipedia e commons coisas que eu criei para remover? Eu não fico marcando conteúdo de vocês para eliminação por pura picuinha, seja seguindo regras ou não, quando vejo que vocês estão envolvidos, eu nem me meto, mas vcs fazem o contrário, sempre buscando conflito. Iniciamos alguns projetos que devido aos problemas que você conhece muito bem, foram pausados. No devido tempo vamos tocando e avançando. O museu Antonio Parreiras é um deles. Por favor, quando escrever em alguma página de discussão minha atente-se para dirigir-se somente a mim, eu sou um indivíduo, não uma dupla ou um grupo e respondo e represento unicamente a mim nas minhas edições, portanto, use "tu" ou "você". Dito isso, vamos lá. Se a eliminação das coisas que você cria está sendo recorrente, talvez seja bom repensar a forma como as cria? Me parece que criar páginas vazias está virando um praxe seu e a produção de links vermelhos ou links vazios é contraprodutiva. Desconheço os tais problemas que você diz que conheço, poderia clarificar? No mais, recomendo realmente produzir algo em seus GLAMs para então criar as páginas, a fim de evitar que qualquer editor possa questionar a validade da existência de tais páginas e propô-las para eliminação, seguindo as regras. Inclusive, me choca um administrador de um projeto Wikimedia reclamar por um editor fazer cumprir as regras estabelecidas por uma comunidade. Mass (material of dolls)

Der Ederporto,

in your recent uploads such as File:Boneca Bebê, Acervo do Museu Paulista da USP (15).jpg, you refer to the material of the doll as "mass". This is not very clear: I cannot find a corresponding definition (e.g. in the Wiktionary). Is this perhaps a mistranslation from another language? Hello, MGA73. There was a concern at the time I uploaded those files that the local governments (of all spheres) were overturning databases on the dead and missing in the Brazilian dictatorship. My uploads were in the direction of preserving these documents, which are public (until they are overturned or deleted, like it seems the case), published so and of paramount importance for the preservation of this dark past of Brazil. Commons:File renaming

Please do not continue to push a rename just because you prefer another name as you have done with File:Refletor, Acervo do Museu Paulista da USP (1).jpg and others. This is where they are, they meet our name criteria, and they are linked, and have references to them. Redirects exist from the names that you have identified, and your suggestions are less descriptive than the existing names. Wikimedia Commons is happy to announce that the 2022 Picture of the Year competition is now open. This year will be the seventeenth edition of the annual Wikimedia Commons photo competition, which recognizes exceptional contributions by users on Wikimedia Commons. Wikimedia users are invited to vote for their favorite images featured on Commons during the last year (2022) to produce a single Picture of the Year.

Hundreds of images that have been rated Featured Pictures by the international Wikimedia Commons community in the past year are all entered in this competition. These images include professional animal and plant shots, breathtaking panoramas and skylines, restorations of historical images, photographs portraying the world's best architecture, impressive human portraits, and so much more.

For your convenience, we have sorted the images into topical categories. Two rounds of voting will be held: In the first round, you may vote for as many images as you like. The top 30 overall and the two most popular images in each category will continue to the final. In the final round, you may vote for just three images to become the Picture of the Year.

Round 1 will end on 1 May 2023, 23:59:59 UTC.

Oi Eder! Eu estou escrevendo um artigulo no en.wiki sobre os territórios federais no Brasil e econtrei uma mapa do território de Acre que amaria de usar (link aqui) mas não sei se a imagem tem a licença adequada. Eu vi que vc carregou essa mapa do território federal de Guaporé/Rondônia e quis saber se vc também poderia carregar a mapa que eu encontrei. Your opinion about OpenRefine and its Wikimedia Commons features: two (!) surveys

Hi! You have recently tried/used Wikimedia Commons features in OpenRefine (uploading files, or editing existing files). I'm curious to hear how this has gone, also if you only briefly tried these features.

To help the OpenRefine team with future improvements, it would be immensely helpful if you would be willing to spend a bit of time filling in two surveys. (Yes, two! Each of them uses a different method and (open source) platform). Both will run until approximately end October 2023.

1. A first, classical, survey (fully anonymous) where you can tell us how you use the Commons features in OpenRefine, and how you (want to) learn to use them better;
2. A second, more experimental survey (also fully anonymous) in which you prioritize the features that matter most to you. This second survey is a bit strange in that you can 'just keep clicking'. Feel free to use it as long or as briefly as you want; you can stop any time. Please also add your own suggestions!
