Thank you for the map

Thank you for the map for Interstate 26 (North Carolina)--Ncchild (talk) 13:41, 21 January 2014 (UTC)

No problem. I would work on the other maps listed at w:WP:USRD/MTF/R, but the laptop on which I make maps no longer wants to connect to WIFI. –Fredddie 17:51, 21 January 2014 (UTC)

ArchiveBot

Hi, I noticed you have set up User:MiszaBot to archive your talk page. Unfortunately, the bot has stopped working, and given how its operator is inactive, it is unclear when/if this will fixed. For the time being, I have volunteered to operate a MiszaBot clone (running the exact same code). With that said, your input would be appreciated at Commons:Bots/Requests/ArchiveBot 1. Illinois route maps

Hi! I noticed that you're generating maps of Illinois routes. Some thoughts:

Thanks for the input.
  • I'm at the mercy of the NHPN data. If you look at my contributions, you'll see I skipped a couple between 89 and 99 because of gaps in the data. Adding some IL route markers is easy to do.
  • Similarly, adding the endpoint cities is easy.
  • Thanks. I knew there were new road map categories, but I can only remember Road maps of Illinois. –Fredddie 16:41, 3 June 2014 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading File:I-696 map.svg. I notice that the file page either doesn't contain enough information about the license or it contains contradictory information about the license, so the copyright status is unclear.

If you created this file yourself, then you must provide a valid copyright tag. For example, you can tag it with {{self|GFDL|cc-by-sa-all}} to release it under the multi-license GFDL plus Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike All-version license or you can tag it with {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain. (See Commons:Copyright tags for the full list of license tags that you can use.)

If you did not create the file yourself or if it is a derivative of another work that is possibly subject to copyright protection, then you must specify where you found it (e.g. usually a link to the web page where you got it), you must provide proof that it has a license that is acceptable for Commons (e.g. usually a link to the terms of use for content from that page), and you must add an appropriate license tag. If you did not create the file yourself and the specific source and license information is not available on the web, you must obtain permission through the OTRS system and follow the procedure described there.

Note that any unsourced or improperly licensed files will be deleted one week after they have been marked as lacking proper information, as described in criteria for deletion. If you have uploaded other files, please confirm that you have provided the proper information for those files, too. If you have any questions about licenses please ask at Commons:Village pump/Copyright or see our help pages. Thank you.

User:Highway Route Marker Bot/Requests

Are your requests current? I am looking to do a run with the bot this weekend to make sure things are still in working order and possibly make some minor updates.

Also were you ever able to try the script? After I do my test run this weekend I can post the files I used. --Svgalbertian (talk) 22:53, 20 November 2014 (UTC)

Yes, all the requests are current. In addition, could you re-run the Ohio request? Another editor created a more accurate template for Ohio, so we should switch over to that.
I attempted to run the script, but I couldn't get it to work. –Fredddie 00:38, 21 November 2014 (UTC)
