Our first steps tour and our frequently asked questions will help you a lot after registration. They explain how to customize the interface (for example the language), how to upload files and our basic licensing policy (Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content).

You don't need technical skills in order to contribute here. Be bold when contributing and assume good faith when interacting with others. This is a wiki.

Getting help

More information is available at the community portal. You may ask questions at the help desk, village pump or on IRC channel #wikimedia-commons (webchat). You can also contact an administrator on their talk page. If you have a specific copyright question, ask at the copyright village pump.

Goodies, tips, and tricks

Put Babel boxes on your user page so others know what languages you can speak and indicate your graphic abilities.
You can find the files you have uploaded in your Uploads.
Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~.
To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg.
You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account.
There are several tools to upload files.

NFL uniforms edit

Hi, I've been updating most of the NFL uniforms according to the changes you indicated me. I'm currently working on the Houston Texans kits, and I'd need you to confirm me the colors of their game kits before uploading the image.

Home: navy jersey, white pants, navy socks

Road: white jersey, navy pants, white socks

Alternate: red jersey, white pants, red socks

@Fma12: Ok, I did some research and it looks to me like this team hasn't been using mono one color socks, even when its usage increased in the 2019 NFL season. It looks like they're just using navy blue-over-white socks (color and white) and red-over-white socks (alternate) from what I've uncovered.--GalaxyFighter55 (talk) 00:07, 4 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

Rams uniforms 2022 edit

Hi GalaxyFighter55! I hope you're doing well. I finished the Rams uniforms according to the data you had provided me from GUD. I uploaded a layout to my googledrive so you can see and even dowload the image (this is the link).

If you find something to be fixed please let me know so I'll change the kits before uploading the definitive PNG image to Commons.

I also need to know if these three uniforms will be used since the 2022 season or should they be also included in the 2021 season article?

@Fma12: Here's some changes that should be done on the mockup, and it should look 1-on-1 with the actual kit:

HOME: The royal blue pant's nike check should be white. The pants line design is accurate, except it should go all the way down to the socks.

AWAY: The bone white pants linage design is basically just a color inversion of the yellow pants. But instead of going yellow - pure white - royal blue like the yellow pants, the bone pants should be bone white - yellow - pure white. The LOS ANGELES RAMS badge needs the yellow stickwork and a thin royal blue line starting on the left side of the badge.
