Creating a gallery page

Göran, I would recommend you start by clicking on this link to create your gallery page: User:Goran tek-en/Gallery. Then, you can fill it with your images using one of the two styles below. You can copy and paste the raw code by clicking the [edit] button on whichever you prefer. I used the file tiles for the captions, but you use whatever you want for captions. Just remember to add [[Category:User galleries|Goran tek-en]] to the bottom of the page. If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to ask me. WLM exhibition

Hello. The photos edited by you:

will be represented at the exhibition of Ukrainian WLM photos. Should we attribute yourself as coauthor of these pictures or only attribute the first author?--Anatoliy (talk) 15:31, 5 December 2013 (UTC)

I haven't been active here for very long so I don't know all about that. I have tried to find info and asked but haven't found any answer yet. If you go to any of those images page you can find links "Use this file" with the code for using them. For me this is at the top part of the page. There are links both for using an image on Wikipedia or anywhere else on the web. I don't know if you are going to do a physical exhibition or it will be online. If it's physical I guess it should be the same content as anywhere on the web but as it can't use links I don't know how to write it really.

It will be physical exhibition. We will write author's name on each photo. For example: '© Altur, CC-BY-SA 3.0' or 'Author: Altur, CC-BY-SA 3.0'. In this case we can write '© R.V.Foto, Goran tek-en, CC-BY-SA 3.0', or leave '© R.V.Foto, CC-BY-SA 3.0'.--Anatoliy (talk) 15:23, 6 December 2013 (UTC)

SVG code cleanup/optimization

I didn't use Inkscape, but rather opened the file in a simple plaintext text editor. (I don't really use Inkscape to edit SVG files at all, only to test SVG files and convert SVG files.) If you want to go down that route, you'll need to look at the SVG 1.1 specification... AnonMoos (talk) 12:08, 27 December 2013 (UTC)

I use Inkscape to create but I have started to open the file in texteditor after having vacuumed and saved it as plain svg and then clean up the code by hand so it will be more optimized. So I will study the link, thanks. --Goran tek-en (talk) 13:23, 27 December 2013 (UTC)
