Unsuitability of JPEG file format for the types of images you're uploading

Unfortunately, the JPEG format is simply unsuited for abstract geometric images with large areas of flat color, and it handles sharp transitions between uniformly- bright red areas and uniformly bright green areas very poorly indeed. AnonMoos (talk) 03:26, 5 December 2009 (UTC)
