Notification about possible deletionEdit

Some contents have been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether they should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at their entry.

If you created these pages, please note that the fact that they have been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with them, such as a copyright issue.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!

File:Public coming to the streets raising slogans in favour of Pakistan Army after declaration of War.pngEdit

I looked at your contribution history, and saw that you uploaded File:Public coming to the streets raising slogans in favour of Pakistan Army after declaration of War.png. This 1965 image looks like a screenshot. I take screenshots, from books, and publish them here. But I only do so when I am sure the underlying image in the book would be in the public domain.

If the underlying image has, or had, its own intellectual property rights, probably owned by the original photographer. You do not acquire your own intellectual property rights to an image, simply by taking a screenshot of it.

The {{Information}} template you used, when you uploaded this image, says this 1965 image was your own work. If you were not present, at the event, in 1965, to take the image with your own camera, it is not your own work. Geo Swan (talk) 11:53, 4 October 2018 (UTC)

Don't you worry sir, it is my intellectual property. HIAS (talk) 16:53, 4 October 2018 (UTC)

@DBigXray: My previous uploads were not in bad faith, you know that. HIAS (talk) 19:45, 11 October 2018 (UTC)

then why are you unable to properly explain the source of this image ? --DBigXray 21:20, 15 October 2018 (UTC)

The wire uploaded it on 2015. [1] see the link. U raised a false alarm. DBigXray 17:14, 21 August 2019 (UTC)

Dear @DBigXray: I guess i am unable to see the date/time stamp on the image. Can you please tell me what are you trying to point out exactly? HIAS (talk) 20:55, 21 August 2019 (UTC)
Let me bold the text above, what I am trying to point out. [2] see the link DBigXray 05:26, 22 August 2019 (UTC)
Dear @DBigXray: I can see 2015 in the link, but it may not be the date/year, much like a database number. thewire.in is a reputable news source. I don't think they will copy the images from Wikipedia. HIAS (talk) 07:13, 22 August 2019 (UTC)
they are free to upload a free image from commons. DBigXray 07:16, 22 August 2019 (UTC)
