The Wikimedia Commons does not accept fair use content

Wikimedia Commons does not accept fair use content. We do this because Commons is a shared media repository. Downstream wikis have different policies based on local laws. Uses that are acceptable under US law, for example, may not be acceptable in many other countries with more restrictive rules. In addition, fair use is not compatible with our aim as a collection of freely distributable media files. Therefore, Commons cannot legally rely on fair use provisions. Non-free content that may be used with reference to fair use may be uploaded locally if your project allows this.

Ruokamarkkinat

Huomaan, että olet siirtänyt kuvia markkinat-luokista ruokamarkkina-luokkiin. Osa näistä kuvista eivät kuitenkaan ole ruokamarkkinoilta, vaan aivan muilta markkinoilta, joilla juitenkin tarjotaan ruokaa. Peruin muutoksesi yhteen minun kuvaani, ja korjasin luokan kuvasta File:Hjortron pa torget i Helsingfors.jpg. Helsingin torilla myydään nykyään paljon muuta kuin ruokaa.

Pyytäisin varomaan muutoksia kuvissa, joista sinulla ei ole tarkempia tietoja.

Poistin muutamia kuvia näistä luokista. Olisi kiva jos vastaisit kyselyihin täällä, ja mielellään itse katsoisit läpi tekemääsi, kun siitä valitetaan. Roiskuu kun rapataan, mutta ei pidä laittaa toisia siivoamaan.

Mitä minun pitäisi siis vastata? Enimmäkseen olen pyrkinyt vain lisäämään luokkia. En oikein vieläkään ymmärrä, mikä tämä ero näissä markkinoissa on. Toisessa tarjotaan ruokaa, toisessa vain myydään? Jokin reaktio olisi ollut kiva. Esimerkiksi nyt esittämäsi kysymys.

Tottakai eri markkinoiden välillä on eroa, niin kuin eri kauppojenkin välillä on. Ei Ikea ole ruokakauppa, vaikka siellä satuttaisikin myymään ruokaa. Rajatapauksiakin on. Kauppatoreilla kai aikoinaan oli ruokamarkkinoita, kuten kai silakkamarkkinatkin olivat kalamarkkinoita. Nykyisiä en sillä lailla luonnehtisi. Toki, jos joku luokittelaa silakkamarkkinat kalamarkkinoiksi, niin tuskin lähden sitä muuttamaan.

Koska ruokamarkkinat ovat markkinoiden alaluokka, kuvan ei pitäisi olla molemmissa. Tämän vuoksi kuva "häviää" yläluokasta kun se laitetaan tarkempaan luokkaan, joka ei istukaan kuvan kohteeseen. En lähtisi etsimään kuvia Helsingin kauppahallista luokasta Kalamarkkinat, ja kuva jäisi löytymättä.

Luokkien jakaminen alaluokkiin pitäisi tehdä huolella, jolloin kuvien luokittelukin helpottuu. Suomessa kai ei enää juuri ole kalamarkkinoita, muuta kuin mahdollisesti tukkumarkkinoita (sitä puolta en tunne). Puutalojen osalta laitoin luokkiin {{Category see also}}, kun puurakentaminen lienee eksoottista sielläpäin mistä luokkien luoja on. Se auttaa jonkin verran kun on jokin luokka jota ei välttämättä keksi etsiä.

Itse olen sitä mieltä, että kuvien löytyminen helpottuu kun kuva luokitellaan mahdollisimman moneen luokkaan. Yritän siksi katsoa kuvia sillä silmällä, että onko siinä asioita, jota kuvan lataaja ei ole huomannut luokitella. Olen tehnyt myös uusia luokkia, mutta lähinnä "xxx in Finland" -tyylisiä sellaisiin, joissa muiden maiden luokkia jo on. Ruokamarkkinat taas voisi olla esimerkki siitä, että luokassa voisi olla määritelmä, jolloin virheluokituksia tulisi vähemmän. --Kospo75 (talk) 18:34, 23 May 2021 (UTC)

Toisaalta kuva joka on monessa luokassa löytyy helpommin, toisaalta luokka joka on täynnä sinne vain marginaalisesti kuuluvia kuvia on kättökelvoton. Jälkimmäistä ajeteltaessa voi miettiä sitä ilahtuuko joku, joka etsi kuvaa juuri tästä luokasta, siitä että kuva oli mukana. Näiden kuvien osalta vastaus lienee kyllä (kuvia oli luokissa vähän, joten ne eivät haittaa muiden kuvien näkemistä).

Toisaalta joku joka etsii kuvitusta tiettyyn artikkeliin saattaa luottaa siihen, että luokassa olevat kuvat kuvaavat luokan aihetta. Tässä tapauksessa kuvan kuvauksenkaan tarkistaminen ei auttaisi, koska siitä ei ilmennyt olika kyse ruoka. tai kalamarkkinoista – piti tietää näiden kyseisten markkinoiden luonne. Tässä siis saatetaan aiheuttaa kuvien harhaanjohtavaa käyttöä.

Luokkien kuvaaminen olisi todella tärkeää. Olen Wikipediassa esittänyt, että pääluokkaa varten tehtäisiin malline, joka lisättäisiin alaluokkiin, ettei tarvitse mennä kaikkien "by country" yms. väliluokkien kautta löytääkseen kuvauksen – joka usein puuttuu pääluokastakin. Trieste

Hei, artikkelissa fi: Trieste on oudolta vaikuttava lause: "Nykyisin Slovenia vaatii Kroatialta Triesten lähialuetta, jonka se katsoo kuuluvan historiallisesti kaupunkiin". Kuitenkin, Trieste on Italiaan, ei Sloveniaan kuuluva kaupunki. Voinet siis poistaa lauseen.

Triestessä on silti sloveenivähemmistö, joten sloveeninkielinen nimi sopinee paremmin kuin saksankielinen nimi eli artikkeli alkaisi:
Trieste (ital. [triˈɛste], sloveeniksi Trst) on kaupunki Koillis-Italiassa, Triestenlahden pohjukassa.

Minulle on uutta tällainen että tarvitaan alkuperäistä muokkaajaa korjaamaan jotain kohtaa artikkelissa. Miksi et itse voi tehdä sitä. Vai onko tää niinkuin kotitöissä että yritetään saada toinen tekemään. Vai jonkinlainen rangaistus?

Tein nuo mainitsemani muutokset 23. ja 24. tammikuuta, mutta käyttäjä Rdt404 kumosi ne väittäen eston kierrosta. Muuten, on jonkinlaista kummallista käyttäytymistä, kun kyseinen käyttäjä ei liene tehnyt yhtään muokkausta, vaan pelkästään kumoamisia: käyttäjän Rdt404 muokkaukset. Eräänlaisen WPK-fobian vimmalla Rdt404 on jopa kumonnut käyttäjän 62.148.124.30 muokkauksia.

Käännyin puoleesi siksi, kun itse en voi Rdt404:n takia enää kirjautua fi-Wikiin ja ip-osoitteella mobiilista sinne ei ole päässyt enää aikoihin.
