Could you please add Neuvo Leon in Dark Blue? I changed the Mexico svg, but can't figure out the svg here. reference in the SSM in Mexico article.Naraht (talk) 16:31, 11 October 2018 (UTC)

@Naraht:. Isn't that a bit premature? I'm having trouble seeing that in the article. For example, it says Ahora, en este nuevo caso se prevé que el alto tribunal pueda emitir una declaratoria general de inconstitucionalidad. That sounds like a forecast. Looks like the threatened fine noted at the end of the article is if the govt doesn't submit requested documents. Kwamikagami (talk) 00:04, 12 October 2018 (UTC)

File:Original South Park flag.pngEdit

Upon further consideration, I have speedy deleted the image. You are hereby warned to stop uploading copyright violations and lying about it, or you will be blocked. Magog the Ogre (talk) (contribs) 23:04, 19 December 2018 (UTC)

Indeed I examined the history in en.Wikipedia and found incoherent Kwamikagami’s stuff in {{information}}, such as a cryptic “WC” later expanded to “Wikimedia Commons” but without specifying the source anyway. For a definitely third-party’s work, yes. Incnis Mrsi (talk) 08:23, 20 December 2018 (UTC)

File:Russianlanguagemap.png has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!

Dangerous precedent – is JuTa now entitled to run with an axe into a Wikimedia-wide content dispute in spite of definite opposition even on Commons itself? IMHO we should go straightly to undeletion requests. Incnis Mrsi (talk) 18:40, 25 December 2018 (UTC)

Might've been a duplicate. I'd have to see them side by side. Kwamikagami (talk) 19:36, 25 December 2018 (UTC)

Papuan LanguagesEdit

Since you're responsible for most Papuan maps on this site, I was wondering whether you could revise my map of Papuan Languages based on Usher (2018). The resource I used to make that map combined Kwomtari and Fas, so I'm not sure how accurate the split is. I also realized too late that the map I used as a base didn't use Usher's TNG branches, unfortunately I don't have a really good image software on hand. MToumbola 9:47, 7 January 2019 (UTC)

Maybe you could check the Ethnologue maps for the split? I won't be able to get to it any time soon.

I just used that base map because it was handy, but really, I suspect it's quite inaccurate. E.g. Gogodala-Suki seems to have a rather different range than shown. Kwamikagami (talk) 10:03, 7 January 2019 (UTC)

File:Bornean languages-en.svgEdit

Can you add the border between Laos and Burma and the border between Malaysia and Indonesia in the central gap of Borneo which is missing in File:Malayo-Polynesian mk.svg, File:Nuclear Malayo-Polynesian mk.svg, File:Borneo-Philippines mk.svg, File:Malayo-Sumbawan languages mk.svg, File:Sunda-Sulawesi mk.svg, as well as in File:Malayo-Polynesian-en.svg, File:Malayo-Polynesian-es.svg, File:Malayo-Polynesian-ru.svg, File:Malayo-Polynesian-sr.svg, File:Borneo-Philippines.svg, File:Bornean languages-en.svg, File:Philippine languages map.svg, File:Nuclear Malayo-Polynesian.svg, File:Malayo-Sumbawan languages.svg and File:Sunda-Sulawesi.svg - by copying the borders from File:Malayo-Polynesian-de.svg?

Unfortunately I don't know how to edit SVG maps myself, that is why I asked you.

Thank you.

The Borneo gap is in the .de map too. Can you ask the person who created the maps? It will be a while before I can get to this.

As for editing the maps, I just use Inkscape. The map people here don't like it because it introduces all sorts of garbage and errors into the files, but it's the only tool I have. It's shareware, so you could use it just as easily. (It's slow to open, though, so you need to be a bit patient when you start editing a file.) Kwamikagami (talk) 20:00, 10 February 2019 (UTC)
