Copyright violations by ЭргEdit

Hello Mithril,

there is a problem with user Эрг (I have seen that you discussed sth with him in the past)). I have figured out that he has uploaded many copyrighted images (for instance scans from textbooks), some of them have been tagged by me (copyright violations) and been deleted as a consequence. On his discussion page there is a growing body of evidence that he does not understand or gives whatever about that - more and more deleted images due to violations.

In addition, there is another problem. He let translate (?) some images like file:NADH Dehydrogenase Mechanism (ru).png or file:C4 photosynthesis PEPCK (ru).svg and uploaded them but did not mention the original author and - also interesting - changed the license.

Now: what to do? Cheers, --155.91.64.15 11:46, 3 April 2017 (UTC)

Dear Sir, I am coordinating the publication of a new textbook of zoology (in Italian) and I wonder whether I can use your picture published in:

In the case, you will be credited for it. Best regards and thank you for your attention. Loriano Ballarin

Dear Sir, I'm not the author of this image. It was published in PLoS ONE and is distributed under Creative Commons Attribution 2.5 Generic, that's why you can use it without special permission of the authors. However it's necessary to mention the authors: Jaroslav Smrž, Ĺubomír Kováč, Jaromír Mikeš, Alena Lukešová . The complete bibliography is as following: Smrž, J., Kováčm, L., Mikeš, J., Lukešová, A. (2013). Microwhip scorpions (Palpigradi) feed on heterotrophic cyanobacteria in Slovak Caves – a curiosity among Arachnida. PLoS ONE 8(10): e75989. doi:10.1371/journal.pone.0075989.
