Translation requestEdit

Hello, may I ask you for some help? The Template:Created with/ja (working together with the Template:Created with .../ja) needs a professional translation. Examples how to do are the English version Created with .../en which is very simple, may be your language needs a more complicated layout like e.g. Created with .../fr and Created with .../es.
Far below at that documentation it can be seen swiftly how each selected language is translated. May be I made not clear what I am asking you to do, just give me a Ping to get more explanations. -- sarang사랑 08:24, 3 July 2018 (UTC)

You can find a bit more explanation at Translation required, about the terms needed in different cases. -- sarang사랑 13:56, 3 July 2018 (UTC)
Hi, Sarang. Japanese language, similar to English, has no "grammatical genders" basically. I'll translate the English version, to begin with. --miya (talk) 14:08, 3 July 2018 (UTC)
It is good news, that makes things easier. In fact, I need to build sentences like
"This [ raster graphic | vector graphic | image | flag | icon | logo | map | plot | diagram | ...] had been created with [ ... ]."
"This [ oversized ] [ W3C-invalid | W3C-uncheckable | W3C-unspecified ] vector graphic had been created with [ ... ]."
You need not to fight with the templates, it will be enough if you tell me how to express the above in Japonaise. Otherwise, a mixture of the en-Logic and Japanese text will do it. Thanks for your help! -- sarang사랑 14:21, 3 July 2018 (UTC)

  • "This [ raster graphic | vector graphic | image | flag | icon | logo | map | plot | diagram | ...] had been created with [ ... ]."
      I'm not sure what "plot" means..."
      画像 means "image" or "graphics".
  • "This [ oversized ] [ W3C-invalid | W3C-uncheckable | W3C-unspecified ] vector graphic had been created with [ ... ]."
      I hope this will work.--miya (talk) 15:41, 3 July 2018 (UTC)

ケイ (talk) 15:05, 18 November 2018 (UTC) (J.K at Japanese Wikipedia)

--miya (talk) 22:15, 18 November 2018 (UTC)

--miya (talk) 05:22, 20 December 2018 (UTC)

--miya (talk) 06:53, 20 December 2018 (UTC)」

--miya (talk) 08:48, 20 December 2018 (UTC)

--miya (talk) 22:19, 20 December 2018 (UTC)

{{rename|新しい画像名.jpg|3|not Takashi Hara but [[w:Matsuoka Yasutake]] ([[:ja:松岡康毅]]); see}}
--miya (talk) 22:19, 20 December 2018 (UTC)

Need help by somebody (preferrably by an admin) speaking JapaneseEdit

Hello Miya,

It’s about this image

I need a little help by somebody (preferrably by an admin) who is speaking Japanese. Being a filemover on Commons, I stumbled over this nice image (see linked image). Some user added a rename request template to it, saying:

“Uploader requested to rename ミーヤキャット at Commons:Deletion requests/File:ミーヤキャット.jpg”

And indeed: There is also a deletion request for that image. The deletion request is in Japanese, I can’t understand it. If I understand the rename request correctly, that deletion request is not actually a deletion request, but rather should be a rename request. If this is right, we should (a) close the deletion request and then (b) handle the rename request (I can do the latter). But before doing so, some trustworth person who speaks Japanese should make sure that this deletion request is really just a rename request.

May I just ask you (as a Japanese admin) to take a look at the deletion request for that image and check if it is really rather a rename request? Then we could close that deletion request and I could finally handle the rename request.

Thank you very much for your help! Best regards, --Aristeas (talk) 16:30, 30 January 2019 (UTC)

Hi, Aristeas. You are right - the uploader really hopes to correct the file name. So I will take care of this deletion request. Thank you for notifying me!--miya (talk) 03:02, 31 January 2019 (UTC)
Hello Miya, thank you very much for your help and for closing the (wrong) deletion request! I have now renamed the file (according to the suggestion of the original uploader). So we are done with this image file. Thank you again and best regards! --Aristeas (talk) 07:18, 31 January 2019 (UTC)
