Speedy deletion of properly tagged imagesEdit

Hello. Ad [1]: Please don't tag properly tagged images for speedy deletion. File File:Juraj Kemka Zuzana Sebova 2016-01 Kristalove kridlo 2015 a.jpg is (successfully confirmed!) CC-BY image from Flickr [2] and file File:Juraj Kemka 2016-01 Kristalove kridlo 2015 a.jpg is cropped version of the first... --Teslaton (talk) 21:59, 28 January 2016 (UTC)

Demande de suppression d'une imageEdit

Cher Sismarinho,

Cordialement, — Racconish ☎ 11:42, 20 April 2016 (UTC)

You are receiving this message because you voted in R1 of the 2015 Picture of the Year contest.

Dear Sismarinho,

Wikimedia Commons is happy to announce that the second round of the 2015 Picture of the Year competition is now open. This year will be the tenth edition of the annual Wikimedia Commons photo competition, which recognizes exceptional contributions by users on Wikimedia Commons. Wikimedia users are invited to vote for their favorite images featured on Commons during the last year (2015) to produce a single Picture of the Year.

Hello! Thank you for uploading File:Soa Amin with Abdullah The Butcher.jpg to the Wikimedia Commons. I noticed that when you uploaded from another Wikimedia project, you left out some important information, or copied it incorrectly. In the future, please consider using CommonsHelper, a tool which automates the process of moving files over. Thank you,

@Magog the Ogre: I wish to use it for https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:SantanaGarrettEntrance.png but this doesn't work.--Sismarinho le blasé (talk) 07:57, 31 August 2016 (UTC)
Uncheck the box that says "directly transfer." That is broken even if the text generator isn't. Unfortunately, the tool maintainer isn't active enough to fix it. Magog the Ogre (talk) (contribs) 00:07, 1 September 2016 (UTC)

Your VFC installation method is deprecatedEdit

Hello Sismarinho, we are aware that using the old installation method of VFC (via common.js, which you are using) may not work reliably anymore and can break other scripts as well. A detailed explanation can be found here. Important: To prevent problems please remove the old VFC installation code from your common.js and instead enable the VFC gadget in your preferences. Thanks! --VFC devs (q) 16:23, 22 May 2017 (UTC)

Cropping imagesEdit

I had to review your cropped image File:Road Warrior Animal cropped.jpg. By way of information for the future, when you want to crop an image I suggest you use the CropTool that can be activated in your commons Preferences, under Gadgets. The CropTool will then appears in the left side of your screen. It saves everyone a lot of time because it transfers all the correct and appropriate information into the cropped image, such as source, license, author, etc. It even leaves a backlink to the original and visa versa so long as the original has been positively reviewed. That way all the proper information is there and does not need to be manually reviewed again. If you are just cropping a small bit of the image like a frame, you can decide to overwrite the original image but for more major crops, like the one you did, you should upload the copped version as a separate new image, but you have a choice. I hope you can see how everyone can save time and frustration by using CropTool. Good luck. Ww2censor (talk) 15:33, 18 December 2017 (UTC)

Permission GrantedEdit

I did get permission. Not my problem you don't see that. Mr. C.C.Hey yo!I didn't do it!

File:'Free Concerts' Radio Dealer poster (1922).jpg]Edit

Your inital speedy nomination was declined and a subsequent DR, in which you curiously did not particulate, found no valid reason for deletion. Nevertheless, you have again added an identical, spurious speedy request. I also note you have been warned about inappropriate speedy tagging before. Please discontinue adding inappropriate speedy requests, as it is disruptive and may result in a block. Эlcobbola talk 20:55, 1 March 2019 (UTC)
