Tectonic Plate Map edit

Hi Sting, I'm using your Tectonic Plates map as a part of a science lesson plan!

Kelly

Hello Kelly.
You’re welcome to modify and reuse the map for any of your use. Modifying it, like using only a cropped version of the map won’t change the license of the file, so it will still be the same license than the original version, which will be a Creative Commons “CC-BY-SA” one, with credits that shall be “Eric Gaba for Wikimedia Commons”. Greetings. Sting (talk) 00:42, 11 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

Use of your map edit

Dear Eric,

I am a PhD student working with a Masters student on the development of linguistic resources for Morisien. We aim at using your map to locate participants to our crowdsourcing project by asking them to point where they learnt Morisien.

The map will show like this :

and will appear on this website http://krik.paris-sorbonne.fr/ayo (under construction)

Thanks for this map which suits perfectly our needs!

Alice

Languages of Africa map edit

Hi Sting, I am a publisher of scholarly books in Cape Town and I'd like to use your Languages of Africa map in a book which deals with multilingualism in the classroom. It will be commercially available worldwide, although the market will be very small. May we have your permission to use it, and what credit line would you like us to use? Many thanksSandyGS58 (talk) 12:49, 24 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

Florida Map edit

I and a multimedia creator working on a project for a Non Profit in NE FL and I am using one of your Florida Maps as the base of a PSD file that I will animate a line, showing travel, to open a video.

I have the project close to completion but want a simple animation showing the route as an opening to the video.

Use of Scramble for Africa Image in book edit

Hi, I wanted to ask if I could use the image for European Claims in Africa https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Berlin_Conference#/media/File:Colonial_Africa_1913_map.svg for a print book. The Book itself will be published formally under regular copyright. Thanks. Puck42 (talk) 05:33, 22 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

the use of an image edit

Hello ! We would like to use one of your pictures regarding Aristoste, for a website we created for our highschool. We hope it doesn't bother you... We find this image very pretty so it would be a very nice to use it in our website talking about "the invention of the photography". It's not finished yet, but you can check it out if you want. Here is the link : file:///E:/SNT/mapageweb/mapagewebv3/page1-6.html

Thank you for spending your time to read our mail. Please tell us if something is wrong

Goodbye Mathilde and Elise
