Hi Walter - thought you might be interested to know, these are Branta hutchinsii (Cackling Goose; formerly Branta canadensis hutchinsii) - MPF (talk) 10:20, 2 February 2010 (UTC)

The fly is Eulonchus sapphirinus described by the Ruusian entomologist Karl Robert Osten Sacken. A very useful pic showig the species role in pollination Grretings from Ireland Notafly (talk) 20:41, 13 February 2010 (UTC)
