English: Roman milestone (miliarium) found in 1836, at a point about 180 m. from its actuel spot and at 6.4 km north of Kirkby Lonsdale, by William Moore, the owner of the site, who cut a Latin inscription lower down on the stone, reading solo erutum / restituit / Gul(ielmus) Moore / an(no) MDCCCXXXVI.
