- Comment - This strikes me as an important picture, so I think it should be a Valued image. I'm unsure about this as a Featured picture, because as much as I appreciate the importance of the subject and the accompanying story, the image itself is not so clear. But I think there should be some suitable way of featuring this as a striking and important image. -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 14:48, 11 December 2015 (UTC)
- Oppose technical and aesthetic quality of the photo are average. However, if used in the context of an article such as English Wikipedia, this might become FP there as a good illustration. --Pine✉ 17:07, 11 December 2015 (UTC)

- Oppose as per Ralf. White balance is also too blue. Yann (talk) 20:54, 11 December 2015 (UTC)

- Oppose The image is OK but not FP technically or on wow. The filename and description are not suitable for Commons, and reads more like something one might find in a local newspaper. It's also rather patronising. While encouraging more women into science/technology/engineering is needed and good, it isn't Commons place to make comments like this. -- Colin (talk) 09:07, 12 December 2015 (UTC)
