- Comment This blue seems saturated, like artificial. Blue hour intensity, but too electric -- Basile Morin (talk) 05:00, 6 July 2018 (UTC)
- Oppose overprocessed, per Basile. --Martin Falbisoner (talk) 05:24, 6 July 2018 (UTC)
- Support The saturation could be reduced, but still... wow! Yann (talk) 06:35, 6 July 2018 (UTC)
- Neutral until the problem highlighted by Basile is fixed! Very good image. GerifalteDelSabana (talk) 06:57, 6 July 2018 (UTC)
- Oppose I declined it at QIC. Daniel Case (talk) 17:20, 6 July 2018 (UTC)
- Comment This has a potential, so I tried to edit it a bit: File:The Heavenly Rara Lake, edit.jpg. I am not an expert in photo-editing, so it certainly could be done better. @Basile Morin, Martin Falbisoner, GerifalteDelSabana, and Daniel Case: What do you think? Regards, Yann (talk) 14:26, 7 July 2018 (UTC)
- @Yann: Much better!, but I dislike the noise and the over-saturation of the water. -- GerifalteDelSabana (talk) 14:31, 7 July 2018 (UTC)
- Thanks @Yann: for this effort of improvement. Honestly I don't find much difference. But my contribution is below with the alt -- Basile Morin (talk) 01:03, 8 July 2018 (UTC)
- Question Bijay chaurasia, Yann: Would you like me to have a go at fixing this and offer it as an Alt? --Cart (talk) 20:19, 7 July 2018 (UTC)
- Cart: Sure, please do. Thanks, Yann (talk) 20:22, 7 July 2018 (UTC)
- Question Cart: Thanks and I do have question. This image won the 7th prize in the national contest of Nepal in Wiki Loves Earth 2018. Its better to upload a new version in the same file or ? Actually i am trying to contact with the up-loader but unable to contact him. --Bijay Chaurasia (Talk) 03:07, 8 July 2018 (UTC)
- Bijay chaurasia: The new versions should be in new files per Commons:Overwriting existing files. All the new versions here are significant changes of the file since they change it's appearance. There are many files where some of the assessments, such as QI or WLE, are on one file and the FP on another version. They are all linked through the "Other versions". --Cart (talk) 04:02, 8 July 2018 (UTC)
- Cart Thank You --Bijay Chaurasia (Talk) 04:15, 8 July 2018 (UTC)

Alternative - edited edit
- Info Ok, since I haven't heard from the nominator Bijay chaurasia, I feel a bit like a trespasser here. Please revert the "Alt" if you don't like it. I have compared it with other Nepal photos, and due to the high altitude and clean air, the sky is much more blue and intense than the one we normally see. I think I've got it right now. The problem wasn't the saturation, it had more to do with the white balance, too intense shadows and luminosity. I only had to go -1 one on saturation, reducing it more would have made the trees bleak. I also did some noise reduction and smart sharpening. 'Pinging' all voters: Basile Morin, Martin Falbisoner, Yann, GerifalteDelSabana, Daniel Case. --Cart (talk) 21:38, 7 July 2018 (UTC)

- Support as well. -- GerifalteDelSabana (talk) 23:34, 7 July 2018 (UTC)
- Oppose This version was not significantly changed. It's still oversaturated. But I've uploaded another version with different color settings, which would be enough to strike this oppose if the consensus accepts (just needs a revert). However, I also notice posterization in the sky and think it would be better to make the change from the original file (before it was modified) rather than this already altered version -- Basile Morin (talk) 01:03, 8 July 2018 (UTC)
- I don't see that much change, so I am fine for either. Yann (talk) 10:06, 8 July 2018 (UTC)
