Per pujar la foto hi ha un enllaç a l'esquerra, que diu "Carrega un fitxer", i si la foto no és teva, l'autora ha d'enviar un permís d'OTRS per correu electrònic.--Sebasweee (talk) 19:49, 24 January 2015 (UTC)

Wiki Loves Earth 2015

Hola. Seguint l'estel de Wiki Loves Monuments, Wikimedia Ucraïna va encetar en 2013 el projecte Wiki Loves Earth, que te la mateixa dinàmica i filosofia, però busca obtindre fotografies d'espais naturals. En 2014 va ser organitzat per als territoris de parla catalana per Amical Wikimedia. Aquest any Wikimedia Espanya i Wikimedia Portugal uneixen les seves forces per a organitzar el concurs a tots dos països. Per a això estem treballant en llistats, en diversos idiomes, de Llocs d'Importància Comunitària. Hem organitzat un equip de voluntaris, al que us animem a unir-vos, i amb els que podeu col·laborar per a fer articles, llistes, categoritzar imatges a Commons, promoció, etc. Podeu respondre ací o a la pàgina de Commons. També us animem a fer fotos per a maig. Per a poder organitzar el concurs hem demanat un grant a la Fundació Wikimedia, que podeu llegir ací i podeu avaluar-lo i si us sembla interessant, donar-hi el vostre suport. Stewards confirmation rules

Hello, I made a proposal on Meta to change the rules for the steward confirmations. Currently consensus to remove is required for a steward to lose his status, however I think it's fairer to the community if every steward needed the consensus to keep. Hola, si a internet hi ha una imatge d'un llibre de 1457. Si ja agafo la imatge, la retallo una mica i la canvio, puc aleshores posar-la a la Wikipedia Commons? Una imatge d'una obra plana en domini públic, per exemple una pintura, no és una imatge creativa que generi nous drets en la majoria de països, continua sent de domini públic encara que la imatge no sigui teva. En canvi una imatge d'una obra amb relleu, per exemple una escultura, pot tenir drets del fotògraf encara que l'obra sigui de domini públic. Per tant, una imatge d'un llibre de 1457 és de domini públic, tant si la foto és teva com si no. --V.Riullop (talk) 10:29, 15 April 2015 (UTC)

He carregat la nova versió però encara es veu l'equivocada.

I am pleased to announce that nominations are now being accepted for the 2015 Wikimedia Foundation Elections. This year the Board and the FDC Staff are looking for a diverse set of candidates from regions and projects that are traditionally under-represented on the board and in the movement as well as candidates with experience in technology, product or finance. To this end they have published letters describing what they think is needed and, recognizing that those who know the community the best are the community themselves, the election committee is accepting nominations for community members you think should run and will reach out to those nominated to provide them with information about the job and the election process.

This year, elections are being held for the following roles:

Board of Trustees
The Board of Trustees is the decision-making body that is ultimately responsible for the long term sustainability of the Foundation, so we value wide input into its selection. There are three positions being filled. More information about this role can be found at the board elections page.

Funds Dissemination Committee (FDC)
The Funds Dissemination Committee (FDC) makes recommendations about how to allocate Wikimedia movement funds to eligible entities. There are five positions being filled. More information about this role can be found at the FDC elections page.

Funds Dissemination Committee (FDC) Ombud
The FDC Ombud receives complaints and feedback about the FDC process, investigates complaints at the request of the Board of Trustees, and summarizes the investigations and feedback for the Board of Trustees on an annual basis. One position is being filled. More information about this role can be found at the FDC Ombudsperson elections page.

The candidacy submission phase lasts from 00:00 UTC April 20 to 23:59 UTC May 5 for the Board and from 00:00 UTCApril 20 to 23:59 UTC April 30 for the FDC and FDC Ombudsperson. Arbre monumental d'interès local

A la Category:Arbre Monumental of Catalonia hi tenim fotografies del negundo de la Font, de Talamanca, que no surt a les llistes d'arbres monumentals però segons el cartell que és veu a file:046 Negundo de la Font (Talamanca).JPG és un "arbre monumental d'interès local". On s'haurien de categoritzar aquestes fotos? No sembla que el seu lloc sigui la categoria d'arbres monumentals. A més, crec que tenim uns quants arbres d'interès local de Barcelona, no categoritzats a banda, que possiblement haurien d'anar al mateix lloc.--Pere prlpz (talk) 14:08, 4 May 2015 (UTC)

Les figures de protecció són: arbre monumental, arbre d'interès comarcal i arbre d'interès local. La denominació de monumental només és pels d'interès nacional, tot i el cartell d'aquest exemple. Es pot crear una categoria paral·lela "Arbre Singular of Catalonia", nom que engloba els comarcals i municipals, si he interpretat bé els noms usats en la legislació. --V.Riullop (talk) 16:58, 4 May 2015 (UTC)
A priori hagués dit de separar els arbres d'interès comarcal dels d'interès local, però veig que hi ha poca informació accessible per separar-los (en general ja costarà prou trobar-los), que sovint els mateixos arbres acumulen les dues figures de protecció (exemple de Cambrils) i que amb els monuments de Catalunya, a Commons, tampoc hem separat segons nivell de protecció. El nom d'arbre singular no veig que surti a la legislació però en alguns webs de l'administració surt com a sinònim d'"arbre d'interès comarcal o local", i potser és més pràctic.
O sigui, d'acord amb crear la categoria "Arbre Singular of Catalonia". A mida que l'anem omplint ja veurem com la dividim, però de moment crec que hauríem de crear també, dins d'aquesta, la categoria "Arbre d'interès local of Barcelona" (amb aquest nom o un altre).

Pywikibot compat will no longer be supported - Please migrate to pywikibot core

Pywikibot (then "Pywikipediabot") was started back in 2002. In 2007 a new branch (formerly known as "rewrite", now called "core") was started from scratch using the MediaWiki API. The developers of Pywikibot have decided to stop supporting the compat version of Pywikibot due to bad performance and architectural errors that make it hard to update, compared to core. If you are using pywikibot compat it is likely your code will break due to upcoming MediaWiki API changes (e.g. T101524). It is highly recommended you migrate to the core framework. There is a migration guide, and please contact us if you have any problem.

There is an upcoming MediaWiki API breaking change that compat will not be updated for. If your bot's name is in this list, your bot will most likely break.

Cases a categories de rellotges de sol

Les categories de les categories s'han de posar d'acord amb el tema i no segons el contingut, o sigui, no segons les fotos que hi ha ara mateix sinó segons les que hi podria haver. Aleshores, encara que l'única foto que tinguem d'una casa tingui un rellotge de sol, entenc que la categoria de la casa hauria d'anar a la categoria de "buidings in ..." perquè la casa és un "building in ..." i totes les fotografies de la categoria de la casa seran d'un "building in ...", però no hauria d'anar a la categoria de rellotges de sol, perquè es poden fer més categories de la casa sense mostrar el rellotge de sol i aquestes fotografies no haurien d'anar a la categoria de "sundials in ...".

En les llistes de rellotges de sol hi poso normalment la commonscat corresponent a la casa, ja va be per veure l'entorn. Imagino que en pocs casos caldrà una subcategoria pel rellotge. --V.Riullop (talk) 08:35, 15 June 2015 (UTC)
D'acord que no cal fer categories de cada rellotge a menys que vulguem buidar les categories de "sundials in", i encara, perquè de moment és difícil que tinguem moltes imatges de cada rellotge, i d'acord també que pel camp Commonscat de les llistes ja serveix la categoria de l'edifici. Com a referència, la política de Commons sobre categoritzar per tema i no per contingut és als primers paràgrafs de Commons:Categories#For_more_appropriate_categorization.--Pere prlpz (talk) 10:49, 15 June 2015 (UTC)

HTTPS


Hi everyone.

Over the last few years, the Wikimedia Foundation has been working towards enabling HTTPS by default for all users, including unregistered ones, for better privacy and security for both readers and editors. This has taken a long time, as there were different aspects to take into account. Our servers haven't been ready to handle it. The Wikimedia Foundation has had to balance sometimes conflicting goals.

Forced HTTPS has just been implemented on all Wikimedia projects. Some of you might already be aware of this, as a few Wikipedia language versions were converted to HTTPS last week and the then affected communities were notified.

Most of Wikimedia editors shouldn't be affected at all. If you edit as registered user, you've probably already had to log in through HTTPS. We'll keep an eye on this to make sure everything is working as it should. Do get in touch with us if you have any problems after this change or contact me if you have any other questions.

Proposal to create PNG thumbnails of static GIF images

There is a proposal at the Commons Village Pump requesting feedback about the thumbnails of static GIF images: It states that static GIF files should have their thumbnails created in PNG. The advantages of PNG over GIF would be visible especially with GIF images using an alpha channel. (compare the thumbnails on the side)

No és de minimis, la pantalla és el centre de la imatge i blanquejada no tindria cap sentit. Ara bé, també es podria considerar que el gràfic no és prou creatiu per tenir copyright. És discutible. --V.Riullop (talk) 08:27, 5 August 2015 (UTC)

transferència d'imatges a l'arxiu que està eleborant-se a la pàgina de proves

He entrat al wikimedia commons (amb el titol divina commedia Inferno canto 1) i m'ha sortit una galeria d'imatges entre les quals hi ha la que necessito. Assenyalo la imatge, es fa més gran i apareix una banda superior en la que hi ha les dos opcions que em podrien servir però en cada una d'elles surt una finestra de diàleg que no se com i quina utilitzar, em podrieu assistir? Biblioteca Nacional d'Espanya i CC BY NC SA

Volia il·lustrar un article amb un extret d'un manuscrit del domini públic del segle XV conservat a la Biblioteca Nacional d'Espanya. En no trobar cap llicència he escrit a la biblioteca que em va donar l'autorització amb llicència CC BY NC SA. En uilitzar aquest codi de llicència en previsualització, commons m'envia un missatge automàtic que això conduirà a l'esborrament immediat, si descarregues el document, tot i que tinc una autorització escrita per la BNE. El punt de vista de Commons és que les reproduccions fidels d'obres de domini públic són en domini públic, i aleshores no et cal demanar permís a la biblioteca per pujar a Commons una imatge d'un manuscrit del segle XV (pots veure Commons:When to use the PD-scan tag). Una altra cosa és que això està menys clar a la legislació espanyola que a l'estatunidenca de manera que és imaginable (però improbable) que la Biblioteca Nacional et posi un plet a tu si les puges a Commons.--Pere prlpz (talk) 21:01, 12 August 2015 (UTC)

Wiki Loves Monuments 2015

Hola! Volia anunciar que aquest setembre es torna a celebrar el concurs fotogràfic Wiki Loves Monuments. Anem ja per la seua sisena edició, la cinquena per als territoris de parla catalana. El concurs té com a objectiu recopilar material fotogràfic lliure del patrimoni monumental. Wikimedia Espanya organitza el concurs a Espanya, i aquest any volem donar-li més importància a les fotografies de llocs que encara no en tenen. Us animem a participar i a unir-vos a l'equip de voluntaris. També podeu ajudar fent llistes que falten d'altres zones, categoritzant imatges, promocionant el concurs, escrivint articles, etc. Podeu escriure ací mateix o a algun dels voluntaris dels grups organitzadors que es troben llistats ací. També us animem a anar fent fotos per a setembre o a buscar en el vostre disc dur aquelles que encara no haveu carregat. Hola, com hi ha per a altres ciutats he creat la Category:Buildings in Barcelona by year of completion. Segur que hi ha moltes fotos i imatges d'edificis que es poden afegir en subcategories dins aquesta i pot ser molt útil per trobar arquitectura per èpoques. Què faríeu en categories de carrers, posar el nom de la via (Avinguda, Carrer, Passatge, Plaça) en català o en anglès? @Dvdgmz: Category:Carrer Pere IV o category:Carrer de Pere IV, i en el cas improbable que calgués desambiguar, category:Carrer Pere IV (Barcelona). @Dvdgmz: @Pere prlpz: Si el nom de carrer el tinguessim repetit en altres poblacions, cosa que passa sovint, llavors caldria desambiguar usar el format Category:Carrer Pere IV (Barcelona) o bé Category:Carrer Pere IV, Barcelona. A mi personalment m'agrada més el format amb parentesis, però hi ha casos en què s'ha usat la coma, com a Category:Plaça de Catalunya, Barcelona. Amb coma és la forma anglesa, amb parèntesi la catalana i d'uns quants llocs més. En una categoria de tema i nom catalans jo faria servir el parèntesi, a menys que alguna política de Commons digui el contrari.--Pere prlpz (talk) 10:15, 3 November 2015 (UTC)

Dubte sobre tipus de llicència d'imatges

He pujat uns fitxers amb imatges però tinc problemes amb seleccionar el tipus de llicència correcta. Són quatre imatges i disposo de les llicències de reproducció de totes quatre. Quina seria la llicència més adequada si es dóna el permís per reproduir-les lliurement sempre que s'esmenti el nom de l'arxiu? Moltes gràcies. --Lilium2015 (talk) 11:36, 5 November 2015 (UTC)

@Lilium2015: La llicència és la que digui l'autor, en aquest cas Edicions Morera. Si tens el seu permís, cal enviar-lo per correu electrònic per la seva verificació i arxiu. Les instruccions són a Commons:OTRS/ca. Aquest permís cal que sigui per a qualsevol propòsit, inclòs l'ús comercial, per exemple amb els termes explicats a {{Attribution}} o bé amb alguna llicència específica triada pel titular dels drets com per exemple {{Cc-by-sa-4.0}}. --V.Riullop (talk) 08:46, 6 November 2015 (UTC)

Community Wishlist Survey

Hi everyone! Apologies for posting in English. Translations are very welcome.

The Community Tech team at the Wikimedia Foundation is focused on building improved curation and moderation tools for experienced Wikimedia contributors. We're now starting a Community Wishlist Survey to find the most useful projects that we can work on.

For phase 1 of the survey, we're inviting all active contributors to submit brief proposals, explaining the project that you'd like us to work on, and why it's important. Phase 1 will last for 2 weeks. In phase 2, we'll ask you to vote on the proposals. Afterwards, we'll analyze the top 10 proposals and create a prioritized wishlist.

While most of this process will be conducted in English, we're inviting people from any Wikimedia wiki to submit proposals. We'll also invite volunteer translators to help translate proposals into English.

Your proposal should include: the problem that you want to solve, who would benefit, and a proposed solution, if you have one. You can submit your proposal on the Community Wishlist Survey page, using the entry field and the big blue button. We will be accepting proposals for 2 weeks, ending on November 23.

We're looking forward to hearing your ideas!

Hello! Wikimania 2016 scholarships will soon be open; by the end of the week we'll form the committee and we need your help, see Scholarship committee for details.

If you want to carefully review nearly a thousand applications in January, you might be a perfect committee member. Otherwise, you can volunteer as "ambassador": you will observe all the committee activities, ensure that people from your language or project manage to apply for a scholarship, translate scholarship applications written in your language to English and so on. Ambassadors are allowed to ask for a scholarship, unlike committee members.

Imatges cedides

Bon dia, estic en contacte amb un equip de futbol perquè em cedeixi unes fotografies d'un jugador. Tant el jugador com l'equip m'han confirmat que em donen permís per penjar les imatges a la Viquipèdia, però ara fent proves, no se, en aquest cas concret, com les he de penjar. Com a treball propi? Si poso l'opció de treball d'altri, no em surt la possibilitat de posar treball de tercers però amb permís per penjar-ho. Com ho puc sol·lucionar?

Les imatges han de ser lliures segons les condicions explicades a Commons:Sobre les llicències. No s'accepta una restricció d'ús només per la Viquipèdia ni tampoc d'ús només per a una pàgina. --V.Riullop (talk) 10:43, 19 November 2015 (UTC)
Al final el PSV les va penjar pel seu comte, però un administrador les ha esborrat perquè no es creu que siguin de la seva propietat. Com es pot solucionar?

Hi everyone,

This is to inform all Wikimedia contributors that a straw poll seeking your involvement has just been started on Meta-Wiki.

As some of your might be aware, a small group of Wikimedia volunteers have proposed a banner campaign informing Wikipedia readers about the urgent situation of our fellow Wikipedian, open source software developer and Creative Commons activist, Bassel Khartabil. An exemplary banner and an explanatory page have now been prepared, and translated into about half a dozen languages by volunteer translators.

We are seeking your involvement to decide if the global Wikimedia community approves starting a banner campaign asking Wikipedia readers to call on the Syrian government to release Bassel from prison. We understand that a campaign like this would be unprecedented in Wikipedia's history, which is why we're seeking the widest possible consensus among the community.

Given Bassel's urgent situation and the resulting tight schedule, we ask everyone to get involved with the poll and the discussion to the widest possible extent, and to promote it among your communities as soon as possible.
