Oppose Per Alvesgaspar. Also branch is not a good subscope, it is not well-defined. Should be restricted to fruit (here: cone), flower, bark and leaves IMO. Lycaon (talk) 13:29, 14 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Comment As you know, I am neither a specialist, nor an amateur botanist. I just want to show the best (and maybe the more useful for "Commons" users) as possible. Well, "branch" ? Happy to precise the scope as you like. --Jebulon (talk) 14:07, 14 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Comment For many genera of trees, species are not well-illustrated or distinguished by an image of the whole tree. A related discussion occurred for Commons:Valued image candidates/Acer glabrum 4809.JPG. That discussion established the precedent of a successful mainscope nomination of an image of foliage and fruit for a tree species. For this one, because it does not show the fruit (cone) which appears to be a distinguishing feature of the genus, I would support the subscope "foliage". I think File:Araucaria subulata.jpg is better for the mainscope. Walter Siegmund(talk)03:30, 16 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
