CommentThe name of the species is always in italics and we only see a flower and buds, nothing else: we need to reduce the scope to Flower and buds. The argument of quality turns against you because if you look at the images of botany in VI you will see that the image is modest.--Archaeodontosaurus (talk) 06:40, 22 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Comment Open to your thoughts here, Archaeodontosaurus, but would not the distinguishing feature for this image be “inforescence”. I have seen this term used many times in some of your plant scopes. As this plant has no common name, would a scope of the following form be appropriate?
Blumea viscosa, inforescence
On the issue of quality, COM:VICR (3) just requires that the image illustrate the subject well at review size, which it does. It does not have to compete in quality with other VI botany images of other plants.
CommentDone@GRDN711: Thank you for your suggestion and reaching out on my talk page regarding the same. I am not sure if the new scope should be within the category template or not. --Satdeep Gill (talk) 17:02, 26 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
