Theresienstadt concentration camp
Reason Theresienstadt concentration camp archway with the phrase Arbeit macht frei work makes (you) free. This phrase was placed over the entrance in a number of Nazi concentration camps. -- Godot13 (talk)

This picture is misleading. It appears to belong to the Ghetto/concentration camp Theresienstadt/Terezin in which 140,000. Jews were incarcerated from December 1941 to May 1945 and of whom very few survived.
The above picture belongs to the close-by KLEINE FESTUNG (small fortress) which was used as prison by the Prague Gestapo and thus was a concentration camp; it was one the worst. By the way, it has served as political prision since the Habsburg times. It was there that the assasin of the Austrian Crown Prince Ferdinand in 1914 was held and died.
