I think the value is the fact that it is the only photo of the now deceased. But for a single image a category should'nt be created. What do you suggest? --Stepro (talk) 22:29, 25 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I agree, I don't think category should be created for just one image. So I would think it's ok in this case. It is used and seems to meet the other criteria. so   Support -- Sixflashphoto (talk) 22:54, 25 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Question - Aren't categories for ease in finding photos? So why is a category with one photo not a good idea? -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 06:02, 26 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Comment You may have a point. I've read that catagorys shouldn't be created that only have one image but that wasn't my idea and you do have a point. If the community thinks that there should be a category I wouldn't be opposed to it. It's a simple enough problem to fix. -- Sixflashphoto (talk) 07:47, 26 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  Comment - I didn't realize such a guideline was written somewhere. Where? -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 10:06, 27 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Comment I discussed this on German village pump. It seems to be OK to have a category with only one photo, so I was probably wrong when I transfered the recommendation from Wikipedia to Commons. I've now created the category. Thanks for your comments. --Stepro (talk) 19:47, 27 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, but the scope shouldn't be a category but a link to a category (in whole or part). I've corrected the scope for you and now   Support. -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 09:59, 28 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
