Comment According to en:Pancratium zeylanicum, this species is indigenous to India and the islands of the Indian Ocean. In Dar es Salaam, it would be an introduced species and that should be mentioned in the description, I think. If it was found in a flower garden, that should be mentioned, also. Comment I agree with Walter Siegmund about the 'introduced species' part. It can be found pantropically but its original distribution is Tropical Asia.
