Wikipedia describes the Apis mellifera cypria as the Cyprus honey bee, a sub-species of the Apis mellifera Western honey bee. I also see references to a Apis mellifera syriaca (Syrian) sub-species and others from Spain, Malta and Italy (apparently there are 31 sub-species). I would suggest tightening this scope of this image to Apis mellifera cypria (Cyprus honey bee) as described in Wikiepedia. Your thoughts?

*  Oppose @Charlesjsharp: @Archaeodontosaurus: Not in scope! The bee is not Apis mellifera cypria but a male of some Megachile species. Kersti (talk) 16:35, 6 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
