Comment Not the best one in scope. Similar to other pics. But better quality has: "Flickr - archer10 (Dennis) - Egypt-12B-008.jpg". Sorry. Halavar (talk) 10:23, 1 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Support Per Berthold about the first picture mentionned by Halavar. As for the second one (GD-EG-Memphis004.JPG), its sky is obviously blown out... But other opinions are admitted. --JLPC (talk) 10:11, 2 October 2013 (UTC)   Comment JLPC and Archaeodontosaurus - this image don't need a caption in English?? Please again, remember what it is said in: Commons:Valued image criteria. And about image - I think that horizontal layout is a better option to show Sphinx. And those 2 images mentioned by me had that angle. Halavar (talk) 10:56, 2 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose Not best in scope: IMHO File:Memphis BW 2.jpg has a better angle of view in which the total base of the Sphinx is shown. The proposed image has an unnaturally narrow view that I find unpleasant. Lymantria (talk) 15:35, 2 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
The lower part of the base ist not original and therefore not important. --Berthold Werner (talk) 16:25, 2 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
