Scope Nominated as the most valued image on Commons within the scope:
Monument to Auguste Scheurer-Kestner by Dalou
Used in Global usage
Reason Scheurer-Kestner, as First Vice-President of the french Senate, was the first french politician convinced that Captain Alfred Dreyfus was innocent. He failed to convinced other senators to re-open the trial. He died the same day (19 september 1899) when the new french President Emile Loubet granted the pardon to Dreyfus. This monument by Dalou stays in a central place in the Jardin du Luxembourg, in front of the main central gate of the french Senate. -- Jebulon (talk)

Comment Is there an article for this monument? A category? If there is none, the scope seems too narrow to me. Yann (talk) 15:07, 19 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I withdraw my nomination--Jebulon (talk) 23:07, 22 July 2010 (UTC) I have no time enough now to discuss seriously about this nomination, because of the beginning of my holidays tomorrow, and then the beginning of a three weeks wikibreak, sorry. But don't worry, my friends, I'll be back with other new pics, or maybe with this one in another scope, who knows ? Have nice holidays too !--Jebulon (talk) 23:07, 22 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
