Reason The mythic meeting of Caesar Augustus with the Tiburtine Sibyl later reinterpreted as a Christian theme became a favored motif of artists. This nomination as suggested, and because this derivated work from a Nuremberg Chronicle image may nicely and adequately illustrate the scope.   •   Support Pretty much per the nominator. I should note I was involved in suggesting this one - I don't know whether that lessens the impact of this support - but this clear image from the Nuremberg Chronicles seems better to me than a very bad reproduction of the Master of the Tibertinian Sybil, and, although I do like da Trento's better, I think this is an excellent compromise. Plus, on the upside, whatever happens now, even we don't declare it the most valuable, I think we can agree that Myrabella's edit giving us a third strong contender for this scope is a strong benefit to Wikipedias. =) Adam Cuerden (talk) 16:36, 8 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
