Oppose I had to have a look at a few articles to understand what it was. Pretty interesting. However, without any numerical value or indication of what is measured, it is a pretty useless rangefinding device... See here for a picture with explanations on the marks, and here for a rather self-explanatory rangefinding reticle. Maybe you could improve the picture or the image page on this basis?
