Info A Wolf Spider (Lycosidae family) carrying a sac of eggs
Question
Do you have any information/knowledge about the size of the spider, which you could add to the image description?
I am ignorant concerning identification of Wolf spiders. Has an attempt been made to identify the spider to a lower taxon, see Commons:Identifying organisms?
A very difficult family, at least for me. I believe we need a spider specialist. Anyway these kind of behaviour is characteristic of the whole family -- Alvesgaspar (talk) 22:58, 17 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Comment I agree the scope is relevant. There are quite a few images of wolf spiders carrying a sack of eggs but I agree this one is the best and the image also fulfills the other criteria. Now that we are at it I just wanted to get the image page as informative as possible - before I vote. I'll drop a note on our zoologists page, maybe he can help. No idea about the size? -- Slaunger (talk) 23:05, 17 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
