  •  Oppose Changed my mind. -- Slaunger 06:39, 8 February 2008 (UTC)I think it illustrates, e.g., w:Apartheid quite well and the technical quality of the image is OK, but i do not see it as the most valued image of that topic. There are two reasons: I find the no dogs sign distracting and irrelevant and it is not that interesting since it is just an isolated sign which is not put in context with its surroundings. -- Slaunger 20:17, 7 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  •  SupportNominators cannot vote. -- Slaunger 09:01, 9 February 2008 (UTC) Comment I have seen those things with my own eyes hardly 20 years ago, and if I would not have known the Afrikaner culture and history, I would not have believed that it was real. This is a very strong picture as it says in text "blanks only", followed by a strong interdiction sign: no dogs, implicitly forbidding blacks the same way (they don't have a blacks forbidden sign). It is isolated from its surrounding as if it was a cold sign along the motorway basically forbidding passage to blacks. Very strong image to me. --Foroa 22:56, 7 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
