Description

Glenn Green. Built from July 1956-July 1958. The FE replaced the FJ, now a completely new and more modern shape, on a longer wheelbase, with a distinctively new grille and now one piece windscreen. Styling coming from the 1955 American Chevrolet and the 1956 German Opel Kapitan . The engine was much the same as was in the FJ, power was increased to 53kw from 45, the suspension was new on the front. The upmarket Special got superior upholstery, lots of chrome and two tone paint option. The 1st Holden Station Sedan was introduced in March 1957.
