Description

The MGA replaced the T-type cars, now a more rounded shape and got a lower seating position by spreading the chassis rails apart. It was available in Roadster or Coupe. The 1st MGA got the 1489cc engine from the Magnette saloon and only had drum brakes In 1958, the Twin Cam option was available, (twin cam badge near vent aside bonnet). power from 68hp up to 100, also getting 4WDiscs 1959; MGA 1600; 1588cc Drums rear, Discs front, amber or white indic and badges on boot and cowl.

1960; MkII; 1622cc got new inset grille and Mini taillights.
