Calypso Coral with Ram air. The 1970 Mustang was a facelift of the 69, the headlights were moved inside the grille and imitation vents added to the outside where the 69 headlights were, the rear fender scoops were also gone and taillights revised. It was still available in Sportsroof, Hardtop or Convertible. Like the 69 model, the sporty Mach 1 sports roof got sports suspension, reflective striping, matt black stripe on the hood, with functional scoop and lock pins. Other options were the 'Shaker' hood, front and rear spoilers and rear window louvre. Engines available in the Mach 1 were; 2 and 4 bbl 351 Cleveland V8s and 428 Cobra Jet and Super Cobra Jet. Other Sportsroofs available were; the Boss 302 (7013 made), Boss 429 (499 made), Twister Special (96 made) and also a few Sidewinders. Hardtops and Convertibles also available in base models.
