Polar White. The 3rd generation Fox body Mustang was made from 1979-1993, a substantial update in 1987, the grille and quad headlights replaced by modern single headlights and the no grille aero look. It was available again in coupe or hatchback. In 1979 Base, Ghia or Cobra and engines were the 2.3 litre 4 cyl Turbo, 2.8 V6 and 5.0 V8. In 1980 and 81 the 5.0 V8 was dropped in favour of the smaller 4.2 V8 for better economy, but only a poor 120 hp, the unreliable Turbo 4 was the performance engine for this period.
