| Description |
Colour; Firethorn Red. Built from March 1980-October 1981-500 made The VC was the 1st car built by Holden and improved by Peter Brock and the Holden Dealer Team to get a number of things homolagated for racing. The HDT 5.0 was based on the SLE, it also got a front air dam, flares and a 3 piece rear spoiler. The engine was also improved, inlet and exhaust ports enlarged, larger valves and dual exhaust. It was only available in 3 colours; Palais White, Firethorn Red and Tuxedo Black Engine; 160 kw 5.0 V8. HDT won the Bathurst Hardie Ferodo in the VC in 1980 driven again by Peter Brock and Jim Richards. |
