I'm very pleased I managed to find these- they've become almost extinct in my area, but look to survive in decent numbers in London, judging by my contact's photos taken there. This one has a good plate- I imagine it's worth a fair bit. I think it's the original number too. The only thing letting this one down in my opinion is the modern front number plate. This one looks well used, and is really nice to see looking like a daily runner. This one's almost certainly originally a company car. The rear plate which I imagine is original tells me it was sold by R.J Bown National Fleet Sales of Treforest in South Wales. You'd probably have to be a high ranking worker to be given one of these in Ghia spec.

I'm seriously worried about this one. Since I took the photo, it's got a Vehicle Identity Check (VIC) set against it. I think this means it's been written off by the insurance company? Does it mean this might've been involved in an collision or has had some massive mechanical failure? These have always been one of the most popular banger racing cars, so I assume if it is written off, it could head there? Correct me if any of this is wrong, but it's not a very good sign is it?
