Description

Another holiday, another rental car and it's another Hyundai!! For some reason, I keep getting Hyundai's as my rental!!

This is the entry model i45, the Active. The 2.4L was economical and willing, but when overtaking, boy did it rev loudly!!! No blue tooth on the base model either, which wasn't the end of the world, but at least it was an easy car to live with.

Interestingly, Hyundai has just recently dropped the i45 from its Australian lineup and will instead concentrate on the Euro i40 sedan and wagon. Apparently, because RHD markets where the car was sold, Australia, New Zealand and Singapore, couldn't get enough supply, due to LHD priority markets, Hyundai have decided to just sell the car in LHD markets only.

The Hyundai i45 is a rebadged Hyundai Sonata.
