English: This is an image of the national colors carried by the 26th Regiment, US Colored Troops, organized at Riker's Island, New York City, to fight in the U.S. Civil War. Organized Feb. 26, 1864. Mustered out Aug. 28, 1865. The source is an agency of the government.
