Deutsch: Blick nach Westen auf Leipzig-Plagwitz. Der Bildausschnitt wird oben von der Gießerstraße, links von der Limburgerstraße und unten von der Zschocherschen Straße begrenzt. Die Markranstädter Straße befindet sich rechts außerhalb des Bildes. Der Hallenkomplex in der Mitte des Bildes gehört der Kammgarnspinnerei Stöhr & Co. Heute befinden sich dort im Wesentlichen der REWE-Parkplatz und rechts (etwa an der Position der beiden hohen Schornsteine) ein flacher Zweckbau mit Gourmet-Palast und dm. An deren Rückseite, rechts vom Bild abgewandt, befinden sich noch längs in Ost-West-Richtung verlaufende gelbe Ziegelbauten von Anfang des 20. Jahrhunderts. Der heutige REWE- und rechts angrenzend der Penny-Markt befinden sich anstelle der beiden kleineren Hallen und der Container im Vordergrund.
Hinter dem langgestreckten (gelben) Ziegelbau hinter der ehemaligen Kammgarnspinnerei verläuft die Wachsmuthstraße; der heutige Toom-Baumarkt befindet sich noch dahinter. |
