Français : Une scène de rue avec le bâtiment principal moderniste de la Banque Ouest-Africaine de Développement (BOAD) en arrière-plan. Des rues asphaltées avec quelques voitures, des piétons, un chauffeur de mobylette avec un casque et des lampadaires. Un porte-bannière pour les célébrations annuelles du jour de la libération le 13 janvier 1982. Le 13 janvier 1963, le premier président du Togo, Sylvanus Olympio, a été assassiné lors d'un coup d'État réussi. La Troisième République est proclamée le 13 janvier 1980. Plus tard, le président général Eyadéma (1967 - 2005) affirme avoir abattu le président Olympio en 1963 lors du coup d'État auquel il a activement participé. Voir scan 076. La BOAD est à l'origine une institution financière des Etats membres de l'UMOA, l'Union Monétaire Ouest-Africaine (Bénin, Burkina Faso, Côte d'Ivoire, Guinée-Bissau, Mali, Niger, Sénégal et Togo, fondée en 1973.
