Description
Français : Sur une rangée de briques affleurant l'eau, sur la berge de l'Aa à Blendecques, accumulation de milliers d'exuvies de chironomes plumeux (une espèces de moustique qui ne pique pas, et dont la larve est l'un des seuls organismes à survivre dans les sédiments très chargés en matière organique en décomposition). Les larves en contribuant à aérer la vase contribuent au processus d'autoépuration et à la transparence de l'eau.
